The Museum of the Gulf Coast combines conventional and unconventional methods to tell the exciting story of the Texas - Louisiana Gulf Coast region. Since 1964, our museum features exhibits of local personalities, talents, media, historic archives and more. We host tours daily for individuals, school groups and other events for the Southeast Texas area.

The Lagniappe Film and Music Festival (LFMF) will debut February 28th, 2013, marking the addition of yet another world-class cultural event to Southeast Texas and the international film festival circuit. The LFMF’s mission is to create an environment that inspires, nurtures and showcases the work of emerging independent film and musical talent while paying tribute to accomplished artists. ​

Thousands of attendees are expected to visit the four-day festival and participate in film screenings, master classes, and star-studded gala events. The LFMF is a competitive festival open to U.S. and foreign films. ​
